Tuteria, in partnership with the 1MT Black Belt Program, is dedicated to providing quality and affordable tutoring for every learner. Whether it's academics, test preparation, languages, or music, we have students seeking tutors in a wide range of subjects.

What does it take to apply?

If you're a brilliant graduate, corper, student, teacher or professional who loves teaching and impacting children in your neighbourhood, then you should apply!

  • Complete our online application

  • Pass our competency test

  • Submit a great demo video

  • Start teaching and earning

Who can apply to tutor on Tuteria?

There are no specific certifications or teaching experience required! We welcome applicants who:

  • You are a BlackBelt

  • Live in Nigeria in following states:

    • 1.⁠ ⁠Lagos State

    • 2.⁠ ⁠Abuja FCT

    • 3.⁠ ⁠Rivers State

    • 4.⁠ ⁠Ogun State

    • 5.⁠ ⁠Kano State

  • Are 18 years or older and have right to work

  • Are willing to put the student's needs first

  • Very brilliant, and have impressive academic or professional track-records

  • Enjoy sharing knowledge and making impact

  • Have great communication and customer service

Express Your Interest in Tutoring Services

If you're located outside Nigeria and interested in tutoring online, please fill out the interest form. Most of your clients will be from Nigeria, so be mindful of the time difference. Additionally, you'll need a Nigerian bank account denominated in Naira to receive payments.
